My plans have changed and I need to cancel or rebook my flight. Is that possible?

Plans change, we know that too. Whether your flight can be canceled depends on the fare you booked. If you booked a LEAVnaked or LEAVdressed fare, the flight cannot be canceled.
If you have chosen the LEAVsplendid fare, you can cancel it up to 72 hours before departure via our Service Center for a fee of €100. From 72 hours before departure, the cancellation fee is 100% and we can only refund the fees and taxes.
You can also request a date change for your flight. Please contact our colleagues at the Service Center. One change is possible. The fee for the LEAVnaked fare is €49; for the LEAVdressed and LEAVsplendid fares, the fee is included in the price. If the new flight date is more expensive, the difference in the flight price must be paid in addition.

I am unable to fly and would like to transfer my ticket to a friend. Is it possible to change the name on the ticket?

It is possible to change the name on your booking. Please contact our Service Center to do so. Your booking will then be reissued with your new name. We charge a rebooking fee of €49 for this service.
If the flight has become more expensive in the meantime, you will also be charged the difference in the flight price.
If you have chosen the LEAVsplendid fare, you can cancel your booking up to 72 hours before departure for a fee of €100.

I booked through a tour operator and am unable to travel. What can I do?

In this case, please contact your tour operator directly.

How can I register sports equipment and special baggage, and how much will it cost me?

Are there any restrictions on hand luggage on my LEAV flight?

Yes. Please ensure that your hand luggage does not exceed the dimensions of 40 cm x 30 cm x 25 cm and the weight limit of 5 kg for the LEAVnaked fare. For LEAVdressed and LEAVsplendid, one additional piece of hand luggage measuring 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and weighing up to 8 kg is included.

How much checked baggage can I take with me free of charge?

That depends on the fare you booked. Our LEAVnaked fare does not include checked baggage. However, you can easily add this online or via our Service Center.
If you have chosen the LEAVdressed fare, 1 piece of checked baggage weighing up to 20 kg per person is included. The LEAVsplendid fare even includes one piece of checked baggage weighing up to 32 kg per person.

I booked through a tour operator. How much baggage allowance do I have?

Our tour operator product includes one piece of checked baggage up to 20 kg and one piece of hand luggage up to 8 kg free of charge.

We are flying with an infant. What baggage restrictions apply to our child?

Traveling with children means you need a lot of luggage. That’s why LEAVdressed allows 20 kg of free baggage allowance for all travelers, including infants. For LEAVsplendid, the free baggage allowance is 32 kg per traveler.
If you have booked the LEAVnaked fare, no luggage is included, but you can book as much luggage as you need for each traveler.

I would like to take my musical instrument with me in the aircraft cabin. Is that possible?

Musical instruments may be carried in the aircraft cabin in principle and within the permitted allowance for hand luggage (depending on the fare). They must not exceed the dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and weigh no more than 8 kg.
Larger musical instruments must be registered for transport in the hold via our Service Center. In order for us to transport your musical instrument in the cabin, you will need to purchase an additional seat when calling the Service Center.

Prohibited items on LEAV flights

In accordance with applicable legal regulations, please note that some items may compromise safety during your flight. Therefore, these items are completely prohibited in your baggage or are only permitted under certain conditions.

Check-In
I have booked a flight and would like to check in online. When can I do this?

Thank you for your booking. The online check-in area is available from 72 hours and up to 4 hours before departure.

Online check-in is not working. What can I do?

If online check-in is not available 72 hours before departure and there is still enough time before departure, we recommend that you simply try again later. If the problem persists, you can also check in conveniently at the airport. The check-in counters are open from 2 hours and up to 45 minutes before departure.

Am I required to check in online?

No. You are not required to check in online for your flight, as you can also check in at the airport. However, we strongly recommend that you use online check-in, as this allows you to check in conveniently from anywhere, reserve your preferred seat and print your boarding pass. At the airport, you only need to drop off your checked baggage and then proceed directly to the security checkpoint.

When checking in online, only my seat and baggage can be booked, but I would like to add further extras. What should I do?

Please note that special baggage and special services must be requested at least 72 hours before departure. Therefore, these cannot be booked during online check-in. Please contact our Service Center team if you would like to add any extras or services to your booking.

When is the service center available?

The service team is available to answer your questions and assist you with your booking 7 days a week during the following hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Traveling with children & pregnant women
Can my minor child fly alone?

Your minor child is also in the best of hands when traveling alone with us. However, special provisions apply, which you can read in the “Traveling with children” section under the term LEAVmini.

I am flying on vacation with my child. How much will my child's ticket cost?

Children between the ages of 2 and 11 receive a 20% discount on the current adult ticket price (on the flight price only, excluding air traffic tax and airport fees). The age at the start of the last flight listed on the ticket is decisive. The reduced flight price will be displayed automatically based on your selection of travelers in the booking request.

We are flying with our toddler and bringing a stroller. Does this need to be registered?

No prior notification is required for strollers, buggies, travel cots, and car seats if they are not to be used on board.

I am pregnant and would like to go on vacation. Up to how many weeks of pregnancy can I book a flight? We have a small child and are bringing a stroller. Does this need to be registered?

We congratulate you on your pregnancy and warmly welcome you on board with us until the end of your 35th week of pregnancy.

Seat reservation (standard)
How can I reserve my preferred seat?

To ensure that you get your preferred seat, we recommend that you reserve your seat directly when booking your flight.
You can of course book your seat at any time via www.leav.com “Find reservation.” Alternatively, please send a request to our Service Center.
For safety reasons, restrictions apply to seats at emergency exits for certain groups of passengers: children under 16, pregnant women, and passengers with mental or physical disabilities.

How much does my preferred seat cost?

That depends on the fare you chose when booking. A seat reservation in the LEAVnaked or LEAVdressed fare costs €9. A seat with extra legroom costs €19.
Seat reservations are already included in the LEAVsplendid fare. Seats with extra legroom are also included here, subject to availability.

I like to travel comfortably and with plenty of space. Is it possible to book an additional free seat next to me?

We understand your desire for more space, because relaxation begins on the plane. Our Service Center colleagues will be happy to book you a free adjacent seat at the current flight price and subject to availability.

On Board
What food is available on board?

On our flights, you will receive complimentary beverages (water, coffee, or tea) and a small snack as standard service.

Special needs / Service
When is the deadline for booking extras and special services for my flight?

It is best to request any services and extras you require directly when booking your LEAV flight or immediately afterwards. However, if you forget to do so, you can still request them online or from our service team up to 72 hours before departure.

Where can I find all the necessary forms for special registrations and the consent form for unaccompanied minors?

To receive all the important forms for your registration, please contact our LEAV Service Team by phone.
Once you have contacted us, our colleagues will send you all the relevant documents by email.

Other booking questions
How can I pay for my flight booking?

You can easily pay for your flights and all extra services by credit card (Visa and MasterCard) or PayPal.

Where can I view or change my bookings?

If you have a customer login, you can log in under “Customer login” and view or change your bookings.
If you do not yet have a customer login, simply go to “Find reservation” and enter your reservation number and last name.

I have a tour operator booking. How can I view my booked flights?

As an event organizer, you can also view your booking by clicking on “Find reservation” and entering your reservation or transaction number and your last name.
