Covid-19
Dear passenger,
Since October 1, 2022, masks are no longer mandatory on flights to and from Germany.
Exceptions may apply to charter flights where we are requested by the customer to enforce the mask requirement, as well as scheduled flights to countries that continue to require masks on board aircraft.
We therefore recommend that you always carry an FFP2 or medical mask in your hand luggage when traveling.
Please check the entry requirements for your destination.
The information and regulations for your departure and destination airports can be found on the respective airport’s website. All necessary information about the regulations applicable to your destination airport and for your return to Germany can be found on the website of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Or from your embassy or consulate. If the documents required by the authorities are not available at check-in at the airport, you may be denied boarding and/or entry into the country. For more information, please visit→.

The following effective measures will also help to minimize the risk of infection on board:
- Wash your hands regularly with soap.
- Follow the hygiene rules when coughing and sneezing.
- Limit movement in the cabin to the bare minimum.
Thank you and have a safe journey.
