Covid19

Dear Passenger‚

As of 1 October 2022‚ the obligation to wear a mask on flights to and from Germany is no longer in place.

Exceptions can be charter flights‚ on which we are required by the customer to implement the mask requirement‚ as well as scheduled flights to countries that continue to prescribe a mask requirement on board an aircraft.

We therefore recommend to always carry a FFP2 or medical mask in your hand luggage when traveling.

Please inform yourself about the applicable entry requirements for your destination.

You can find the instructions and regulations for your departure and destination airport on the homepage of the respective airport‚ as well as all the necessary information about the applicable regulations for your destination airport and for returning to Germany on the website of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Or your responsible embassy or consulate. If the documents‚ required by the authorities are not available upon airport check-in‚ you may be refused from carriage on the flight and/or entry to the country. For further information please check→

(We do not guarantee the up-to-dateness‚ correctness and completeness of the Information on the above-mentioned websites)

The following effective actions continue to help minimize the risk of an infection on board:

  • wash your hands with soap regularly
  • follow the hygiene rules when coughing and sneezing
  • limit movements in the cabin to the essentials.

Thank you and have a safe travel.
